The Arches Underwater is my interpretation of how the arches below the Victorian promenade in Folkestone look during high tide, when they are fully immersed in the cold water. Below the promenade there are a series of arches, only accessible at low tide. When the tide’s out, the old concrete walls reveal themselves with rich, dark green plant life, with imprints of marine life left behind.
