I made Silent Lines with brushes and a palette knife. The essence of this painting describes the movement of water inside a harbour wall where boats are moored closely together. The lines seen towards the top of the painting interpret how the sky looks, with the lines of the masts of the boats. The water is still, the boats are not moving, the lines are silent.
